They are optically tunable nanoparticles which exhibit strong absorption of selected wavelength of light. This application of nanophotonics is particularly suited to utilization for the development of non-invasive cancer theraputics. Mr. Payne will discuss the nature of the technology, the range and development of applications, and the formation of the company and its progress. This exciting, non-pharmaceutical treatment will be able to enter the medical marketplace much faster than a drug-based alternative.
